It is the End of the Summer Season and the last of the outdoor herbs are growing.

Having fresh herbs all year in some manner is such a pleasure I look forward to. (the little things right?) So Having them being used in cooking and adding extra flavor to my dishes throughout the winter is such a nice reminder of the hard work put into growing them during the summer.

I don't know about you but I've found that Ice Cube trays can be used in such diverse ways!

In this "recipe" we will be using an ice cube tray. Hot water or Hot oil (or a little of both)

Instructions:

*Chop the leaves and fill an ice-cube tray 3/4 full. Pressing down. *Pour in Boiling water to over them. (or hot oil or 1/2 of both) *Freeze them,

* Pop-out the cubes to store in a resealable bag up to 6 months!

Have Fresh Herbs throughout the cold winter season or anytime adding extra flavor in your recipes with this trick!
